I remember with my first wanting him to crawl, then walk, then talk etc...he did everything so fast it seemed I didn't enjoy my time with him at each stage....Then with my second, I tried my hardest to wait, but got so impatient because she didn't do things at the same point he did. Finally my third came along (surprise!!!) and I just sat back and watched everything happen...So much fun to see them learn and grow and explore new things. So sweet! I wanted her to talk so badly so that she could communicate with the family and with her two older brothers. I soon realized she was communicating with us in everything she did, and we weren't always paying attention! Then one word became two and two became three and suddenly at 21 months old she is stringing entire sentences together (way earlier than her two brothers did!). Now I can't shut her up for the life of me :) I was exactly the same way with my little girl!! I wanted her to talk so badly so that she could communicate with the family and with her two older brothers.
