My son is only 3, but busy, busy, busy! I struggle to keep up with engaging activities. I'm currently on maternity leave and my husband and I decided that the best thing for him and for me would be to keep him in daycare 3 days a week. That way he could be busy, stay close to his friends and enjoy time away from me and the baby. It's been my saving grace and his I think. He doesn't always want to go in the morning, but he also usually doesn't want to come home at night. It's what we both needed. I really identified with this post.
