The sweetest... makes your heart just melt, doesn't it? Especially when you're having a bad day, you just look at your child and hear some of the amazing things they say, and it all seems better.

Boy, this is a page right out of my day. Getting my 4 yr old on the bus in the morning usually has us both frazzled and angry. He thinks I'm mean, I think he is purposely dragging his feet to make us late. I forget that he has no real concept of time. I also forget that I was exactly the same as a kid. I can remember many a morning with Mom pulling her hair out because I was "dilly-dallying" and making us late.

Thanks for this post. Makes me realize that I'm just a Mom with the same Mom life as others. And not some horrible mean witch that school mornings bring out in me.

Can I ever relate! I had just such a day yesterday with my 3 yo, I felt horrible because I lost my cool after he had pushed one too many buttons. I spent the rest of the day trying to make it up to him. Telling him lots how much I love him. They do forgive us don't they! So glad things picked up in the afternoon. This was really a lovely post!

It happens over here too - the fighting and the sweet talk. I love it when they say such sweet things to you. It makes it all good.
